Brian Kirk and the Jirks at Sandy Hook

Great news! The wonderful and gracious Ed has offered to host this event for S&L group!

Brian Kirk and the Jirks (http://www.jirks.com/) will be performing on the beach at Sandy Hook (http://sandyhookfoundationnj.org/concert.htm) on Wed., July 9th. FREE entry at 5 pm sharp. Don't come in early unless you want to pay $15. Drive to parking lot E and park. Everyone will be partying on the beach! Wear your bathing suit and bring your chair, suntan lotion, towel, food, drink(BYOB) and dance the night away. Jump in the water before the concert and cool off. Ed will be hosting and will fly a pirate flag somewhere near the stage. (that him in the white shirt and tan shorts and his flag in the photo above) LOOK for him!

The band plays from 6 pm to 8 pm. There will be a 50/50 for those interested. the winner has received $7,500 in the past! Stay awhile after the concert and party while the parking lot empties. Bring a lantern as it may be a little dark at the end of the show. Sandy Hook is a federal park so BYOB is permitted. Drink responsibly as the park police do patrol after the concert. Sandy Hook is a carry in - carry out facility. There are no garbage cans.
Brian Kirk and the Jerks is the biggest draw of the concert series. I suggest that if you can make a day of it at Sandy Hook to do so. Ed will be there early to save some space. This is a multi-group meetup.
