Sit n' Knit New York City is a event-based social group dedicated to bringing people from many neighborhoods and backgrounds together to share in their love of sticks and yarn. The goal is to meet several times a month in different venues and spend a couple of hours happily working on a project. Come to one or come to all! We have parties and knitalongs as well as good ol' gatherings to chat and knit. I hope to provide a friendly atmosphere where we can all share in the pleasure of knitting, as well as help each other with a pattern or project, yarn swap, and of course show off your handmade goods.
