Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce another Space Camp!

what we are doing

We're camping overnight beside the beach in Paekakariki on the Kapiti Coast! Think bonfires, rocket launches and learning astronomical amounts about space, night photography, rocket science, astrology, the solar system, astronomy and how stars work. Plus: telescopes, cameras and much, much more!

The event will be held in multiple locations around the park so come excited and prepared for space travel between class locations.

This event is the prequel to an adventurous experiment which will involve launching a weather balloon with mini space experiments into the outer atmosphere and retrieving the results. Only people who have attended space camp will will be able to attend.
