Skeptics in the Pub

Because our group was getting larger, we moved the event venue to Pat Connolly's Tavern in Dogtown. We will be in the upstairs event room and Dr. Carrier has agreed to give a talk. Bob Blaskiewicz is joining us as well and can give us a brief update on our favorite Cancer Quack, Dr. Burzynski.

PLEASE NOTE: This room does cost $$ but we get it for free if we spend $500 on food and drink the night of the event. A limited appetizer menu, including 1 vegetarian option, will be available (I'm working on a limited dinner menu as well). We will have a bartender in the room. So, please come hungry and thirsty and maybe buy our special guests a drink or two. :) If you want a full meal, like Pat's famous fried chicken, please come to the tavern early and order downstairs as that option will not be available upstairs.

Alright everyone, it's that time again! Another Skeptics in the Pub and just in time to go carousing for the Summer Solstice!! So get your early Midsummer's Eve Celebration shoes on, and join us once again.

PS. Bob Blaskiewicz is planning to attend. While we will not have the setting for a formal talk by Bob, do plan on asking him for an update on Burzynski and other skeptical activism activities in which he has been involved. Perhaps we can do an impromptu "talk" if the bar isn't very crowded at say, 7pm. :)

Oh, and don't forget to wear your best summer solstice frocks. You know, the kind you would wear at the local henge to celebrate!
