This Saturday we're having a Sushi Fundraiser, and I promise that you won't want to miss it. For $25, you will get a sushi feast that's better than what you could get in a restaurant. And in addition to eating the delicious food, you can learn how to make it yourself. I just made some for relatives over the holidays and it was very popular. In addition to sushi, the chefs will be serving edamame, miso soup, and green tea ice cream. If you're vegetarian or don't like raw fish, don't worry; there will be plenty of vegetarian sushi as well.
All of the proceeds will be going to the Skeptical Society, which will enable us to put on more great events. There are a couple well known skeptics who are interested in coming to St. Louis, but we need money in order to be able to fly them in. There are also other costs to running the group, such as the $144 a year that meetup charges group organizers and the cost of reserving private rooms for our events. The more money we can raise, the more cool stuff we can do.
Hope to see you there, and make sure to RSVP so we know how much food to buy.
