Skeptics in the Pub in Kitsilano

Details
Vancouver Skeptics in the Pub (http://vancouverskeptics.org/inthepub/) is a casual social event for local science enthusiasts who value critical thinking and skepticism.
Join us by 7pm instead of 7:30pm this month on Wednesday, May 1 for a special evening of skeptical fun, food, drinks, and conversation at the Billy Bishop Legion (http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=The+Billy+Bishop+Legion,+1407+Laburnum+St.,+Vancouver+BC&hl=en-GB&hq=The+Billy+Bishop+Legion,&hnear=1407+Laburnum+St,+Vancouver,+British+Columbia+V6J+3W4&t=m&z=16&vpsrc=0). The BC Humanists have invited us (http://bchumanist.ca/component/civicrm/?task=civicrm/event/info&reset=1&id=102) to start earlier than usual to hear a talk by Chris Stedman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Stedman), the Assistant Humanist Chaplain at Harvard University, an interfaith activist, and the author of Faitheist - How an Atheist Found Common Ground with the Religious.

As always, the Billy doesn't serve meals, but you are welcome to bring in food from the nearby restaurants, or go in with a few others and have pizza delivered.
Join our Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5218449547) to get all our invitations.
Our events are co-sponsored by CFI Vancouver (http://www.cficanada.ca/vancouver). You can find more skepticism-related groups and events through the Vancouver Skeptics (http://vancouverskeptics.org/) website.
