    I was going to mention that you can actually set case with an implicit struct/array for sure in CF9/10. You just have to quote the keys. Example:

    Local['stCC'] = {

    'sTable' = 'csRateClassRates',
    'sDataBase' = 'PUB',
    'sDataSource' = Application.Seq.Variables.DB.dsnEnt,
    'stKeyValue'= {
    'nRateClassCodeId' = Arguments.nClassCodeId },
    'nCachedWithinMinutes' = 2880,
    'sReturnFields' = 'Id as nId, RateName as szKey, RateValue as szValue'

    If you dump that, the key case will be preserved.

      I think he only mentioned array notation was available previous 11 (Variables["Key"]) . Which is/was still true for the initial variable <11. I was meaning to draw attention to the rest of the structure keys when setting them implicitly (short hand).
