September Scala Meetup

Details
Preliminary agenda
SBT crash course, included upon request details will be defined in spirit of "I can work with it, but just basic, I would like to see how to make custom tasks etc."
If you want to prepare some talk, please add:
- talk title, your name and approximate duration (w/o discussion time)
If you are interested about some topic, please add:
- topic of interest, description what exactly you're interested in
Leftovers from previous meet up:
Maybe talks:
-
interesting things I found while fighting compilation errors (Fero) - 20min - but I'm just beginner so the target audience are beginners: extractors in pattern matching, either type instead of exceptions (we use it in one project and it's really nice), how operator syntax works, partial functions, @tailrec
-
Dispatch (Fero) - 20 min - I know most people hate it. After some annoyance I came to peace with this library. But there is also https://github.com/stackmob/newman which seems to be better and today I worked with play.api.libs.ws.WS which is easier as well
Interests, does anybody is able to prepare talk about these topics:
- Akka
- Play workshop
- Lift workshop
