Stillness Speaks by Eckhart Tolle: Ch. 8 "Relationships"

Join us Sat. July 20, 1-3pm at Sunset Park Church, 1515 Maple st., in Santa Monica (free parking in church lot) as we delve deeply into Chapter 8, "Relationships," of Eckhart Tolle's book, Stillness Speaks.

We also do a short, relaxing, silent meditation at the beginning as well as engage in lively dialogue. Come, participate and get your questions answered so that confusion becomes clarity, and with clarity comes the Freedom that you have always been, but was obscured by the mind's thoughts/beliefs.

"To let go of judgment does not mean that you don't see what they do. It means that you recognize their behavior as a form of conditioning, and you see it and accept it as that. You don't construct an identity out of it for that person."
-Eckhart Tolle

*** Cost is by Donation (you give whatever you feel moved to).

Great chapter! It reminded me that the way I see someone is just the way I see them through my own filters, it is not really who they are. If I put them in a box with those judgments, I not only limit them and the potential of the relationship, but I limit myself - after all, I am always meeting myself. Yes, living a life with TRUST, GRATITUDE and HUMOR is the way to go. Thanks everyone for sharing, but most of all for your alert stillness.

Thank you to all who came out and shared their beautiful presence, vulnerability, authenticity, wisdom and sincerely questions. Know that wherever you are on the "pathless path", you are exactly where you are "suppose" to be. Why? Because it's where you are! :)

What you are, pure Awareness, has never come or gone, which is why almost everybody overlooks it. Much like when you are in a car looking at a mountain vista, you don't notice the windshield. Yet, it's the very thing you are looking through to see the mountains! But because it's always there, we don't notice it. Same-same for Awareness.
    Much Love,
    Michael
