Photography Beach Hike, Follow Up lesson, Wine Tasting, Bottle of Wine Included!

Join photographers Steve Juba & Christy Carr, & Expert Hike guide & Wine Hike enthusiast Tom Bold, for an unforgettable 4.5 mile photographic hike & wine tasting experience.

At a later date after the event we will bring everyone to the Calumet Pro Photo Store & Studio for a 90 minute photo critique of your pictures taken on the beach hike and intro to Photoshop Lesson!

A bottle of wine is included to take home at the end of the day too!!!

We start gently downhill through Douglas Fir, weather worn Cypress trees, and lush ferns on our trail to the first secluded beach. If we are lucky we will see several different types of bay critters; like large colorful Jellyfish, different types of Rays, maybe some Leopard Sharks & more.

Then it's on a new trail near Cliffside through a real Sherwood Forest. Our lunch stop brings us to a cliff top and shoreline picnic area with fantastic views!  It will be hard to leave, but it's on to a swimming beach and across to a new trail to our third beach with Miwok Indian structures on it. A circle trail takes us back across Heart's Desire Beach and up on a beautiful new trail to the parking area.

From here we will go to a winery on the other side of the bay for our tour and tasting experience. (Point Reyes Winery).

Follow Up Critique class will be scheduled soon (details forthcoming).

This was my first Meetup and it was excellent. A great hike. Great photography opportunities and the owners of the winery treated us like visiting friends.
