Many people think about writing fiction professionally. A much smaller number ever try. A tiny fraction of those get published. It takes hard work, commitment, and very thick skin. Are you up for the challenge?
So Fried SpecFic is dedicated to writers who are serious about speculative fiction and are willing to help each other develop the craft of, and love for, writing. This is for people who are serious about being published in the speculative fiction genres.
Requirements:
1) You must love to read
2) You must have the ability to critique tactfully but honestly, even when it will be uncomfortable for the writer being critiqued
3) You must have the ability to accept honest criticism, even when it's uncomfortable for you
4) You must have a burning, unquenchable NEED to write that will sustain you through every failure and frustration that inevitably comes with the writing life
