SOCIAL DINNER CLUB

We’re lucky to have the best of the worlds’ cuisine in Sydney. Yet most often when we try a new cuisine, we don’t learn much about the food or the culture. We believe discovering a new cuisine should be a unique experience. Social Dinner Club is here to create this experience.

Social Dinner Club is your new monthly dinner party where you sample different restaurants and cuisines from around the world, find out more about the cuisine and culture, not to mention meeting new and interesting dinner club foodies!

Every month we will feature new cuisines and the restaurant which specialises in it. This is a great night out, where you’ll have conversations around the food and immerse yourself in another culture.

What is a typical Social Dinner Club event like?

You may have a drink or two and meet other dinner club foodies before dinner. Some icebreakers will make it faster for you to mingle.   A blogger will introduce you to the cuisine. Kitchen staff will explain what you are going to eat as your meal is served.  You will get a free tea/coffee when you use Social Media during dinner. A gift representing the cuisine and the culture will be waiting for you as you’re ready to say good-bye. Until the next time!

Yes  that’s me but how much?

$50-70 per person. This will include an entrée, main, dessert and a gift. Maybe a free tea/ coffee -that’s up to you. The experience -free or priceless depending on how you look at it!

 Each dinner will be different and so will the price but it is not fine dining and so it won’t be too expensive.

You can BYO or buy your drink at the restaurant and that is between you, your love of drinks  and your wallet. We’ll advise if the restaurant is BYO.

Can I come alone or should I bring friends?

Choice is yours.  There will be ice- breakers so foodies get to know each other. Besides you may share some food such as entrees, and sharing is a great way to turn strangers into friends.  If you happen to come alone on the night, that’s fine as you’ll make friends later.  If you happen to come with friends, make sure you end up talking to more foodies than just your friends.
