Welcome, Triangle Age "55+ and Better" Members!

HELLO AND WELCOME!

In September 2006, I saw that there did not exist a Meet-up Group in the Triangle for specifically those just age 55+. That is when I decided to begin the first original Triangle Meet-up group for those "55 and better!" That was over three years ago and what a pleasure it has been!

My background and my education (BSW and Masters Degree in Gerontology) is in working with those age 55+ and I have always been aware that there is a need for socialization opportunities to be provided for active, over 55 adults who are looking to have fun, enjoy friendships and live life! Not a dating service, but a way for those with similar circumstances to get together and enjoy a choice of events and socializing in a safe, pressure free environment.

In 2007, after much thought and insight and after volunteering as the organizer of this Meetup group, I decided to take my education and experience to a new level and began my own company called SILVER CONNECTIONS.
