The Rock & Roll Dance

Come join us for a tremendous Rock & Roll dance with Rico Barr 's Jump ‘N’ Jive Review.

Rico Barr, New England's Premier Swing and Party Band, has assembled 7 musicians including 3 vocalists to perform Rock, Pop and Ballads.

They perform selections from the Jazz and Rock decades including Motown and R&B, as well as Latin. . The Band’s repertoire includes The History of Popular Dance Music, great Motown & Soul classics by Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Billy Paul, and Swing from Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.

Over his career, Rico has played with many music legends including jazz great, Joe Newman. Several members of the band have been nominated by The National Swing Awards including Rico on Vocals and Drums, Dave “The Lip” Dubinsky on trumpet, who has performed at The White House and Carl Reppucci, Jr. on keyboard, a featured soloist on the Sea Breeze Jazz Label. Additional band members include guitarist Paul Hanson, a Berklee Faculty Member whose credits include Marlena Shaw, saxophonist Doug Leaffer, who has been described by Jazz Times magazine as a “fine soloist”, acclaimed arranger and trombonist Bob “Cool Breeze” Holfelder and International Jazz Star Dmitry Gorodetsky on bass.

This distinctive event brings together a historic place and a local accomplished band. The combination of the two will present a unique setting in which to dance, make new friends and enjoy private conversations. Step back to the middle of the 19th century and enjoy the music you love.

The Rock & Roll Dance will be held on at the Stevens Estate in North Andover, MA. Saturday, November 21. 7 - 11pm, guests $30. Suits/jackets & ties for men ~ Cocktail attire for women. Dessert, coffee and tea are included. There is a cash bar. Free Parking.
