BASES (Bay Area Software Engineers Society) is a professional career organization specific to software engineers, application designers, and hands-on coders.

BASES is applying for Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and assembling a board of directors. The mission of BASES is to build an eco-system to support local software engineers, by providing direct communications with local small business, technology start-ups, local employers, and established enterprises.

BASES will be providing information, free services, event discounts and pass-codes, and monthly networking event and technology presentations.
