I love a day where I can change my environment and sit and code around other people. And I love that it was a whole day to do so! Had a later event that evening so I didn't get to go to the party, but still, hack days are great! We even helped someone get started learning Python and helped others with finding code bugs!

Thanks for such a great Hackday!

I hope everyone had fun and learned something cool.

This was our first hackday at Rackspace's office---we're planning more!

Extra +1's to everyone who demo'd something. I put links in a README here (pushes, pull requests and emails welcome):

    More ideas:
    - rest interface to a python library to make it accessible by other languages
    - write a libuv reactor
    - monkey patch sql calls in twisted to find blocking code
    - fix the bug so that the glade reactor gui is back "twistd --reactor debug-gui -n web"

Anyone already know what they'll be hacking on? For me, currently a toss up between IRC bot for finding next issue to work on, and a REST interface for a fav python library (libcloud).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
