I volunteer in LGBTQ-advocacy, and financial planning for low-income and elderly individuals throughout the Greater Boston area. I believe in education to promote equality across demographic and socio-economic classes. I have volunteered/interned with Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, AIDS Action Committee, Volunteer Lawyers Project, Women's Bar Foundation Family Law Project, Greater Boston Legal Services, Shelter Legal Services, and the Boston Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition. Additionally, I run, read, act in college and community theatre, and review for an international entertainment blog for Boston theatre. I am a certified 7-12 English teacher in New York State.
I learned about Robbie Samuels through GLAD, and when I researched his events, I learned about Socializing Justice.
I am a second-year law student at Boston University. I serve on multiple executive committees within and outside of the law school, from affinity to public interest law to community-building groups. I find networking to be an invaluable skill.
