What social justice issues do you care deeply about? Do you work with any organizations or specific communities? What do you do for FUN? Thanks!

I majored in Women's Studies at Tufts University, where I did policy work around gender neutral housing and sexual assault. I care deeply about the intersection of power and social identities. When I graduated in May, I became the Social Media Specialist for JVS-Boston, a nonprofit that empowers individuals to find fulfilling work. Although it is not as directly related to social justice as my undergraduate degree was, I use my translation skills (making academic feminism fun for the whole family -> making social media useful to the whole family) everyday and my social justice lenses influence everything that I do.

How did you hear about Socializing for Justice? Please be specific so we know which websites, listserves or people to thank.

My predecessor, Leah Berk, told me to become a member. I've also interacted with SoJust through YNPN, MBM, and Twitter (thanks for the #FF)!

I am a Marketing Specialist at Year Up, an independent LinkedIn coach, a YNPN volunteer, and a freelance writer trying to make the world a more just place.
