Welcome to Soul Cafe. This site was established and is maintained by Mshawi Ikner (Military Veteran), a frequent participant and promoter of Atlanta open mic nights. On this site you will find a pretty good list of places that have Open Mic Nights as part of their weekly entertainment schedules. BOOKMARK this site, come back here often, and help me keep the listings fresh. If you know of an open mic that is not listed, go to the contact page, and let me know the particulars!!

Open mics are a great way to share your singing, songwriting, and musical talent, and give you real world performing experience in front of a live audience. There are many open mics throughout Atlanta, and there are equally as many talented musicians. Look through these pages, and you will see the many varieties of open mics available, from Electric Rock and Blues Jams to Acoustic Originals. Whether you are a Poet, Independent Artist, DJ,guitarist, bassist, drummer, singer, harp player, sax player and so on, you can find a place to play!! Remember to
email me BEFORE YOU HAUL!
Sometimes jams are cancelled or postponed for whatever reason, and this will stop you from wasting a trip!

DO SINNERS HAVE A SOUL? The Spoken Word Stage Play, written, directed and produced by Theresa “Outspoken” Mayo and co-directed by Tiffany Wade is a harsh, melodic depiction of the soul of a neighborhood and the people who reside within it. This is not a Gospel Play. This multi-media production uses spoken word poetry, dance, popular music, and eye-opening imagery to deliver a powerful thought provoking message. Read more
