I am the owner/operator of Joe Alfano photography. I make a living doing real estate photography as my speciality. My website is www.joealfanophotography.com I do stills and 360 virtual tours. I plan to do drone fly-by video as well.
Digital cameras: Canon 40D, Canon 6D, Canon 7D, Olympus E-PL1 and E-P3. Film Cameras: Canon EOS A2 and A2E, Mamiya 645 Super, Pen EE3 and Trip 35. I have many more film cameras but these are the ones I use most. I also own studio strobes and continuous lighting, several flash heads including a dedicated macro ring flash, many lenses and I am a tripod collector. I use them mostly for my real estate photography.
I would have to say street is my most favorite. I don't have a problem with going up to someone and asking to take their photo. I hardly ever get slapped in the face.
Do I really have to say? OK....40+ years.
Meetups should be fun and educational. They should be a place to share ideas and get better at taking images. Formost they are for like minded people to get together and share their love for photography.
Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS2 (I know thats old). Topaz suite, NIK suite and Portrait Pro Studio 12. I have a Gateway PC computer I have upgraded so many times it's not a Gateway anymore.
Great bunch of photography dedicated people.
Can you please contact me? I would like to rent studio space tomorrow 8/18. I can be reached on [masked].
Joe, on the head shot with the colored goggles, did you use photoshop and layers to get that shot, or did you use lightroom? Love that pic...
It's nice to know you 'hardly ever' get slapped in the face. ;)
