New Moon Ritual

New at Spark of Divinity! Nature based religions look to the phases of the moon to guide them through the many phases of their own lives. The new moon is a time for new beginnings and new projects.

At this new moon, we will learn about the goddess Selene, who left the sky for three nights every month to visit the mortal she loved, leaving the world plunged in darkness.

We must learn to embrace the darkness that comes every month and learn that when all seems bleak, it is up to us to ignite our inner light. We are worthy and powerful enough to lead ourselves out of the darkness and into a new beginning.
