Hi Sphero Rangers!
Our team from Colorado is headed out to Chicago this afternoon and we couldn't be more excited to be leading this event with our fabulous hosts at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.
In advance of the event, I wanted to highlight a few things that will make sure everyone has a great experience.
- If your plans have changed, please update your RSVP. This class is now full and has a waiting list. We want to make sure as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend. If your plans have changed and you can no longer make it, or the number in your party has changed, please visit the Meetup site ( http://www.meetup.com... ) and click the green box labeled "Change RSVP" in the top right hand corner to edit your RSVP. If you have any difficulties updating your RSVP, you can email me at Jenica@orbotix.com with your changes and I can edit it manually.
- BRING your own iOS or Android device if you have one - if not, one will be provided. We'll provide the Spheros. If you have questions about if your device is compatible, visit http://gosphero.com/c... . (Please note, Sphero does not work with Kindle Fire).
- Download the apps in advance. We'll be using 2 Sphero apps in this class. Sphero and Macrolab. You can avoid the hassle of connecting to guest wifi or having a poor 3G signal by downloading these apps from home. The following links refer directly to the apps: Sphero for iOS and Android . Macrolab for iOS and Android.
- Meet us at the information desk. Just before the start of the event we will meet at the information desk in Main Level 2 and walk up to the E-Suite together. Directions to the E-Suite are on the event page. If you arrive late, the information desk staff will be able to guide you to the room.
This is going to be a fantastic event. We cannot wait to meet all of you and get the kids rolling with programming robots.
