Our beliefs not only guide our every thought, they determine the way in which we lead our lives and the ways we treat ourselves, other people, and the planet. We weren't born with them, so they came to us from somewhere ... parents ... playmates ... peers ... prophets ... priests ... perceptions ... ???

This week we'll be examining some of our spiritual beliefs and asking why we have them ... what evidence do we base them on ... what evidence might there be against them. So come along and bring your personal beliefs with you, along with that ever necessary open mind. This isn't going to be the Spanish Inquisition :-) It will be one of our group's typically good humoured evenings, chaired by Lawrence Mills, with spiritually inclined folk who have a variety of spiritual beliefs and who are open to sharing them.

Fancy chewing the spiritual fat with like-minded people and having a bit of fun at the same time ? Then this group is for YOU !!

It's aim is to provide a space where spiritually aware folk of all ages, beliefs and levels of awareness can get together to share thoughts and ideas on all matters spiritual. Because we like to have FUN, and not take ourselves too seriously, we begin and end our meetings at the bar where we can chat informally to friends old and new.

For the more formal part of the evening we adjourn to a private meeting room for around an hour and a half, where we generally focus the discussion on a specific topic which will have been announced in advance. Sometimes we just go for a free flowing discussion, and see where the energy takes us.

Above all what the members of this group do is 'come from the heart'. Right from day one that's how it's worked out, with members opening up to one another about their spiritual thoughts and inclinations in ways they might not with even their nearest and dearest.

You are particularly welcome even if you think of yourself as a 'beginner' on the spiritual path, because you've probably had (or are having) just as many lives as any of us ;-)
