It's time again for another year at the RARSfest, a local hamfest and electronics expo & flea market.
We will be showing off microcontroller experimenters boards and projects using them, explaining to the attendees the ease and advantage to using controllers in many electronics projects.
In keeping with the theme of the day, we can explain Software Defined Radio, and running ham-radio software on the Raspberry-Pi, BeagleBone, CubieBoard and so on. Bring your own ideas as well.
We will be setup next to tables for TriLUG and SplatSpace, so there should be plenty of opportunity for cross-pollinating interests and ideas. We will also be participating with SplatSpace in holding some Learn-To-Solder activities with electronics kits and parts.
If we get enough volunteers, we will be working in a couple of shifts -- some folks in the morning, some in the afternoon.
If anyone has projects they'd like to collaborate on, feel free to start a conversation on the http://mail.triembed.org/mailman/listinfo/triembed_triembed.org mailing list. This announcement has also been cross-posted to that list.
PLEASE NOTE: We need volunteers to help unload and setup tables on Friday, April 18 at 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Please contact the organizer if you can help.
We hope to see you there!
