The SF SproutCore Meetup is back with our second edition of 2011! We're back to our usual format this time 'round; networking, two great talks, followed by lightning talks. We've got a great new space (thanks to our friends at Twitter!) and pizza and beer (sponsored by Strobe -- thanks guys!).
SproutCore Core Team Member Tom Dale will be up first, talking about the one of the most unique (and powerful) aspects of SproutCore: its view layer. In this talk, Tom will talk about where it came from, why it's useful, how to use it effectively, and where it's heading in the future. Definitely a talk you don't want to miss!
Next up we'll have SproutCore Core Team Member Yehuda Katz, returning with a mega-update on Amber. If you caught his announcement talk in November, it's a great follow up. If not, it'll be the perfect introduction.
Space is limited, and we filled up fast last time, so be sure to RSVP, ASAP.
See you all there!
I've got a few weeks between then and now, so this is one of the things I'll try to figure out :) A remote edition is actually more feasible considering that it's just a talk, and not requiring the same interactions as last time. Will likely do that and announce a bit closer to the Meetup.
Greg: As per your request :)

Any parking tips around the venue?
I'm driving in from Richmond; either over Bay Bridge or Golden Gate if you want to car pool up. Happy to pick up directly along the route.
Thanks for the offer Erik. I'm in the city itself but driving there.
Hi Leah, was the WebEx meeting recorded? If so, any idea when it wilbe archived?
Hi Dan!
The WebEx was indeed recorded :) The quality is good, not great, and got progressively better during the recording as we sorted out things like the right place to put the mic, how to integrate the slides, etc.
We're working on editing and processing now -- should have the content ready to share in a few days. Will tweet about it, put it on the blog, and endeavor to post a link here too :)
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
No remote section this time? :) Any chance that your going to record the talks?
