Attend this session to gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts and components of the xVelocity Engine within PowerPivot and Analysis Services Tabular. We'll cover the core design principles, how data models are built, what happens during model processing, and what happens at query time. We'll also cover common solution deployment patterns and some recommendations for model design that will help ensure optimal results for your PowerPivot & Tabular solutions.
