The New York Web Standards Meetup is being revived after some time of inactivity and we're kicking off with a bang! The inaugural event will be hosted by The Mechanism team who are presenting their early stage, bespoke bug tracking system, project:Venus.

Dave Fletcher, our leader in chief, will discuss effective bug tracking and how to save you and your client time and many headaches. Dhruv Mehrotra will walk through the process of setting up the production Rails backend. And George Brassey will describe some of the lessons learned from building a cross domain front end widget using iframes.
