#Startuplokal V.65: Unbeatable Edtech Startup

To commemorate National Education Day at 2 May 2016 more than two weeks ago, Startup Lokal invites three unbeatable edtech startups to share their experiences to run their edtech business with any obstacles in this country.

Each single Speaker represents different generation who passionate to grow Indonesia edtech startup ecosystem. They also will share why they choose this niche, how they monetize the startup, tips to survive in this industry, and so on!

Hary Sudiyono Candra (Founder and Marketing Director of PesonaEdu (http://www.pesonaedu.com/))

Hary is the founder and Marketing Director of PesonaEdu. Graduated with a background in engineering Universitas Parahyangan, Hary has always had a passion for education with almost 30 years of experience. As an entrepreneur ahead of its time, this led him to establish PesonaEdu/AmazingEdu (http://www.amazingedu.com/) (global version of PesonaEdu) Software. The company will then be recognized as one of the best education content developer in the world. Hary is also well known as living legend of founding father edtech startup in Indonesia.

Winastwan Gora Swajati (Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Kelase (http://www.kelase.com/))

Gora is the founder and COO of Kelase, with over 12 years of experience in educational technology industry. His passion in education, Information Technology and entrepreneurship lead him to develop Kelase and launch it in mid-2014 as an online digital learning platform for teachers, students and parents. Last year, Gora Initiated EdTech Indo as the 1st edtech startup community in Indonesia.

Muhamad Nur Awaludin (Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kakatu (http://kakatu.web.id/))

An ex gaming junkie for over 10 years, bachelor of informatics engineering & now becoming CEO Kakatu, Muhamad Nur Awaludin or called Mumu. In May 2014, he started to develop Kakatu (an app to protect kids from the harmful contents on games & internet) that launched in Dec 23, 2014. With the passion of his team, Kakatu had achieved several awards like Winner Top 10 Local Apps Baidu 2014, Winner Global Brain Awards 2015, Winner Startup Of The Year Bubu Awards 2015, Top 100 Startups Asia, Startup Indigo Telkom Indonesia, and also Startup Google Launchpad Accelerator 2016.
