To our female entrepreneurs, this is an exclusive event for those of you who are interested in starting up a new venture. (As for guys, here is your chance to show support by spreading the word!) Empowering women-led startups is our mission and we are ALL IN.

And why female-only, you ask? Because we want to provide a platform to level the playing field and thus improve the gender ratio within the tech industry. (Who wouldn’t want that!)

And if you’ve never done coding before? Do not worry, we have seasoned programmers to provide training so you are well prepared for the competition. We are also throwing in a little bonus by having programmers standing by throughout the full 52 hours in case you need help.

Shenzhen has a community of passionate entrepreneurs who are eager to lend a helping hand. Don’t miss your chance to meet them and make it an even better community! Get your ticket today.

Startup Salad

Empower Future Gamechangers!

What is Startup salad?

Startup salad is a decentralized, joyful event. All of the skillful and passionate people gather together during the weekend (52 hours, from Friday night to Sunday night), pitch their idea and form a Startup team to achieve a project breakthrough from 0 to 1. At the event, there will be programmers, product managers, designers, marketing people and startup enthusiasts who first express their idea on Friday night. Next, contestants will form different teams based on projects to have group discussion over weekend and even scratch a prototype together!

The organizers will invite all the gurus (mentors such as senior executives from well-known enterprises, senior technicians, investors medias and legal specialists etc.) from different industries to support contestants by having discussions and providing advices for them. On Sunday night, there are final Demo/Prototype presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders.

Startup Salad values:

Just do it.

Help each others.

Enjoy creating.

In 2015, Startup Salad will be hosted in 26 cities throughout China and US. Besides Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, there will also be events in Dalian, Hangzhou, Changsha, Xian, Hainan, Hong Kong, etc. Let the 52 hours startup movement thrive!
