Abstract:

Stu will discuss three case studies to introduce available tools, hands on technical considerations, and best practices for deploying and future proofing analytic models into modern products, services and operational systems. He will discuss technical details and trends in data science requirements in relationship to technical details and trends developing in modern infrastructure solutions. He will conclude with concrete actions and pointers that will help attendees get hands on with the current state of the art technology as quickly as possible.

Bio:

Stu is the Chief Technology Officer of Open Data Group (http://www.opendatagroup.com/). He is a technologist and entrepreneur who has been focused on analytic and data intensive distributed systems for over two decades. Stu is the founder and most recently Chief Scientist of Infoblox (NYSE:BLOX). While bringing successful products to market over the years, Stu has received several patents and awards and has helped drive emerging standards in analytics and distributed systems control. During his six years as technical lead for the National Center for Data Mining, Stu pioneered some of the very first analytic applications to utilize the Predictive Modeling Markup Language (PMML).
