Cancelled, will try to reschedule: Focus on Focus Lesson
Details
The focus settings and controls on a modern DSLR camera can be really confusing, even for pros. I'll clarify the whole subject.
This hands-on class with your camera will walk you through all of the important settings. And I'll point out the esoteric ones.
• Learn which settings you want to change and which ones to leave at the defaults
• Learn to focus while following a moving subject.
• Learn how to focus and recompose.
• Learn when you can use Depth of Field along with focus and how.
• Learn which button you want to use for focus, it may not be the shutter button.
How to set them and when to set them.
NOTE: You must call the venue, pARTiculars Gallery - 720-890-7888 – and register with payment first or register thru their sales page: http://particulars.myshopify.com/ , then come back here and RSVP. Thanks!
Even a small focus problem makes an image unusable...

Note on my classes and photowalks...
Learning follows a predictable path in the beginning. First there is the Knowledge level in which the content is explained and it makes sense. You can name, list and locate the information. Second, you come to Comprehend the information and see how it fits together with other knowledge you have. You can explain and summarize it to yourself. Third, is Application of the learning. You can actually do it. You put it into practice. Because you are applying the knowledge in the real world you begin to experiment with it. Higher level skills follow.
Students at any of these levels are welcome and enjoy my classes as I try hard to address everyone’s needs.
