Interested in crafting? Particularly, the needle arts: knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and the like? StitchCraft was created to be a place where folks who love the needle arts can get together and share their love of the craft with having some social interaction with a group of nice folks.

Friendships have formed in this group and we've done more than knit together - we've gone shopping and taken field trips (OK to yarn stores, but still...)

If you're looking for a group that does crafts, has fun, and enjoys each other's company, then you should check us out. Find out more about us on the other pages.

Want to attend?

We're going to be back at Pleasant Home. Pleasant Home is in Mills Park on the Corner of Pleasant and Home.

217 Home Ave about four blocks east of Harlem. It's a huge mansion - kinda hard to miss.

We'll shore up some plans that we've been talking about for the show, meeting at folks homes, and the potluck and see what projects folks are working on.
PH should be pleasant (forgive the pun) and cozy at this time of year.

What members are saying

If you're interested in knitting and/or crocheting in the company of nice people who are, not only helpful, but good conversationalists as well, this is the group to join!

MARLA

“Oh Tina, our group is full of craft-geeks so you should feel right at home. Don't let being a beginner stop you, we all had to begin sometimes and we do have some beginners in the group. (I consider myself an advanced beginner - so there you go!) Our next meeting is the 13th in Oak Park, hopefully you can make it. We are getting ready for the holiday sale at Pleasant Home. It will be our third year there! I truly hope to meet you & see your projects soon! beverly”

“Hi Carol! Welcome to the area and welcome to the group! Our next meeting will be this coming Friday at Pleasant Home. It's a huge mansion that takes up most of the block (it's inside Mills Park.) It's a beautiful place. Feel free to bring whatever you're working on and/or patterns, books you'd like to share. It's a really fun group to be with - we usually have more people in the evening, but even the smaller group is great! I hope to see you as soon as you're settled and ready to play. beverly”
