Stitch 'n' Bitch JC is a group of needle craft-loving denizens (knit, crochet, needlepoint, any needle craft is welcome) who are based in the Jersey City area and who enjoy practicing their craft together. All skill sets and ages welcome!

Please note that this group is for people who want to socially stitch and is not a teaching group. While we don't mind answering questions and showing people advanced techniques, the group is not meant for those who want knitting or crochet lessons.

Currently, the group meets several times a month - twice a month on the weekend and once a month during the week (in the evening). We try to offer something for everyone by meeting in a cafe-type setting on the weekend and in a bar or outdoorsy location during the week. We'll also add more meetups to the calendar like trips to yarn shops and other things.

We ask all members of the group to contribute $2 a month to help us cover the costs of running the group, one of them being the fees that Meetup.com charges us every month. If you're attending our meetup for the first time, it's on us. If you enjoy it enough to come again, we'd really appreciate your contributions!
