TDD/BDD with RSpec and Cucumber

We are having an out of town speaker,James Kovacs, so make sure you make it out.

TDD/BDD with RSpec and Cucumber

RSpec and Cucumber are the bread and butter of Ruby development. Learn how to write Cucumber features to drive out high level system behaviour. Then jump down into RSpec specifications to test-drive out the actual implementation of the system. See how outside-in development can improve your code and keep you focused on the problem at hand.

Enjoyed James' presentation and thought it offered a good intro to testing and TDD/BDD in Ruby.

Solid talk and thoroughly appreciated the explanations and demos given. Drawing the connection between the process and real-world applications and use scenarios was helpful.

The presentation was often derailed a little too much and for too long from questions. Many I felt could have been answered by allowing the presentation to continue where they would be addressed naturally. I'd like to see us as a group make an effort to save non-critical questions until the end of the presentation to allow the presenter to maintain their flow and stay on track.
