The St. Louis WordPress Meetup - How to Keep Tabs on WordPress

This month we're not going to talk about WordPress. Well, not directly at least. Instead we're going to talk about tools and services that help you keep tabs on your WordPress sites. We'll cover Infinite WP, Uptime Robot, and a general overview on how to get the best out of Google Analytics.

If you have any handy gadgets on your superhero utility belt you'd like to share, please feel free to join in the discussion!

Reminder: We're now meeting at Lab1500, a brilliant co-working space located on Washington Ave.

Lab1500 is located at:

1500 Washington Ave., Suite 100
St. Louis, MO 63103

The entrance is on 15th Street and we'll be on the ground floor! Parking is on the street and the meters stop running at 7pm.

Since many folks attend with questions in-hand we want to make it easier for them to get answers. Instead of making people wait till the end of the evening to ask their questions, we're going to dedicate the first 30 minutes of the evening to questions and conversation.

6pm to 6:30pm - Question & Answer time. Come to help others, ask questions, and socialize before the main event.

6:30pm to 6:45pm - Introductions and housekeeping.

6:45pm to 8pm - Main topic of the evening and presentations.

Hi all. I would like to introduce myself. This will be my first time attending a WordPress meet-up. I work in web production and front-end development for Brown Shoe Company. I am interested in learning more about WordPress and meeting new people.

Well Aaron, it's a lively group. Come join us the third Wednesday of the month. You will learn lots about the platform. People in the group are friendly and like to share what they can with people interested in the subject.

Hi Aaron, I'm new to the group, as well. We're moving from Washington, DC to Belleville, IL and will actually be unloading the truck into our house on the 15th. I'm hoping to make it to my first meetup on August 20th, too.
