Other than that I think that if you wan't any constructive feedback that you need to post a much more specific description of your issue. 

"Inability to edit posts" is very vague. Does that mean that you can publish new posts, only can't edit them? Can you at least reach the post edit screen or not at all? Are you able to edit pages? What version of WordPress are you running?
