How To Secure A Second Date: The 10 Common Dating Mistakes And How To Avoid Them

Please note: This event is sorted out by another Stockholm's meetup group, but since we believe that it might be of interest within the expat community, we advertise it on this group as well. However, if you are interested, you have to RSVP on the following event:

First dates can be daunting (albeit easy to secure). The problem however, is the second date.

Can you make a good enough impression that your date wants to see you again?

It's a common scenario: you go on a first date, you think it went gone, you felt like you connected and then . . . nothing.

Maybe you hear excuses like 'I had fun, but I'm just interested in dating anyone right now'.

Maybe you don't even have a reply.

Has this ever happened to you?

You rationalise it's not you, it's them (after all, it is easier) and disregard it until you go another first date with another person and again . . . the same result.

There are a lot of people who experience this and the cycle perpetuates (I was one of them).

However, it doesn't have to be like this.

There's a reason why this happens (or rather, 10 reasons) and fortunately, once they've been identified, they're can be corrected.

In our next seminar, Dave and I will identify what those 10 mistakes are more importantly, how to avoid them so you can secure a second date.

It's easy to fall into a 'role' when you go on a date - a 'role' that isn't you - that's why, in addition, Dave and I will explain 'the ten most common dating archetypes' and how to avoid falling into the wrong one.

This will be mine and Dave's last seminar as a pair before he relocates to American, so this will be our most interactive seminar yet!

This seminar will be one and a half hours long and will be interactive, so please be prepared to move around, participate and meet some new friends. You may also want to bring a notebook and pen to make notes.

The cost of the seminar will be 150 SEK (but because SEK isn't an option on Meetup, you can purchase your ticket on Eventbrite).

If you wish to attend, you can pay in advance on Eventbrite via debit/credit card or Paypal (this helps us reduce the number of no shows).

The seminar is limited to 20 seats and they will go fast (our last seminar sold out in less than a week and had a waiting list) so act fast and we'll see you there!

If you wish to attend, please click here.

Once you've paid and received e-mail confirmatiom from Eventbrite, please RSVP on our Meetup (link below) so we know how many attendees we have.

Thank you and see you soon!
