**This group is open to anyone who loves the art of storytelling.**

Many types of stories can move us, but true stories can move us beyond ourselves.

Perhaps you're already storyteller, or a fan of radio programs, such as A Prairie Home Companion, This American Life, Radio Lab or The Moth. If so, we're here to help you grow in expression and skill.

Good storytellers must have two things - a voice and an audience. Storyteller Ranch wants to help you find both by creating a supportive community of people who value the craft, the joy and the rewards of storytelling.

Inspired by The Moth, a nationally syndicated storytelling series in New York City, Storyteller Ranch is gearing up to bring the art and fun of storytelling to North Texas, and in turn, introduce North Texas storytellers to New York and the rest of the country.

We will gather at least once a month at MothUp Dallas Storyteller Ranch to tell "true stories told LIVE and without notes." These stories will range from 5-10 minutes in length, and will be recorded and videotaped, to be later submitted to The Moth's "MothUP" series for possible inclusion on the nationally syndicated "The Moth Radio Hour."
