Check out our new Event Series the Saint Paul 360! An opportunity for young professionals to become engaged and involved in the St. Paul community with the Saint Paul Jaycees. Events include socializing at community festivals and local establishments and community service opportunities. Members of the Saint Paul Jaycees who participate in Saint Paul 360 events have a chance to win participation prizes throughout the year.

Formed in 1929, the Saint Paul Jaycees (Junior Chamber) offers its members opportunities to serve their communities, establish rewarding friendships and create professional contacts through one of the Metro's leading sources for networking (see more on networking below). Membership is limited to those who are 18-40, after that you become an alumni member.

The Jaycees have proven to be a driving force behind many Twin Cities traditions. The School Patrol Parade and Picnic, started by the Saint Paul Jaycees, continues to be an annual event to this day. The Saint Paul Winter Carnival was restarted in 1936 by the St Paul Jaycees and is now a world-famous event. Others, like the Best 100 Art Show (, and more, are growing and affecting more and more Twin Cities residents each year. And catch us at events like Summit Backyard Bash, Grand Old Day, Stone Arch Bridge Festival and others throughout the year too! Three ways members can get involved: -- Community Involvement: Volunteer for community events like parades or clean-up projects, events we host with metro libraries, youth sports events, arts projects, or any of the many other community events we organize each year. -- Individual Development: Social activities and personal development are in this area. Go canoeing, attend a social, play laser tag, do some bowling, or hear a speaker. If you're new to the area or are looking to meet new friends we offer many, many activities to bring other young adults together. -- Management Development: Help fundraise for the Jaycees to be able to do other events and network with business owners and gain valuable leadership skills at the same time. Members are rewarded with: -- Skills that enhance personal and professional growth -- Making a difference in the lives around them -- Gaining an appreciation and better understanding of the communities they live in. *Many of our members do not sign up for events through this meetup site. They sign up on our main website at Please do not let the low numbers of people signed up scare you off. Almost every event has 20-30 Jaycees in attendance - some more than 100. Check us out on facebook at too. Networking and the Saint Paul Jaycees: By joining the Jaycees, members are immediately given a great place to network - both socially and professionally. While the social networking aspect may be more evident - i.e. volunteer at events, attend membership meetings, etc ... ; career or business networking is also a large part of the Jaycees and one of the largest networking outlets in the area. While social networking events are usually more structured through scheduled events, business networking tends to be more informal with the Saint Paul Jaycees. But business and professional networking is thriving! By meeting and interacting with fellow members you are meeting people from many professions and many businesses. Among our membership are lawyers, realtors, chiropractors, marketing professionals, technical analysts, auditors, electricians, plumbers, recruiters and many more. Some run their own businesses and some work at companies like Girl Scouts, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Norton Anti-Virus, schools, Canadian Pacific Railway and many more. The full list is below. So by joining the Saint Paul Jaycees, and actively participating in all we have to offer, you are able to network with a wide array of other professionals in the Twin Cities.
