     Like us, you too probably recognize that successful and rewarding relationships have EVERYTHING to do with being able to using effective communication skills.  Our group's purpose is to provide a truly safe space to learn and practice those skills so that we can  breakthrough relationship conflict.

     In Successful Communication Practice Group one of our core practices is called "mutual sharing from the heart," which means listening deeply, and sharing our emotions and thoughts with rigorous honesty, and with empathy for ourselves and others.  Successful Communication is a path for being highly aware in relationship. Through a specific, and proven four-step technique pioneered by Marshall Rosenberg PhD, we learn and practice how to disarm conflict by learning to respond mindfully rather than react defensively.  In our perception of things we learn how to  discern observations from interpretations; feelings from judgments; needs from strategies; and requests from demands.

     By letting go of moral judgments for example, we learn to cultivate understanding and greater acceptance of ourselves and others. As we continue to practice this method in relationships with others, we are then ready to access  powerful and quick conflict resolution, and personal transformation.
