This is a group of local surfers looking to meet one another and be social. This is a very social group. It is very difficult to 'plan surf' here in New England, as the surf can be very sporadic. We plan surfing events when possible, but many of our events will be of the social nature including beach clean ups, surfrider fundraiser events, after work cocktail hours, and other events that members show an interest in.Through these social events, we can get to know one another, and when there is surf it will be much easier to find someone to hit the beach with.

If you are not interested in participating in these other, more social events, you are still very welcome in the group, just be sure to adjust your account settings accordingly - to receive emails daily, weekly, or not at all if you would not like to hear about the events unless you visit the page.
