Global Event for No on 23 is This Weekend- Invite a friend!

A couple of hours this weekend (doing something fun!) can determine our future.

Hope to see you there!

We have our work cut out for
us to defeat Prop 23. In this neck and neck battle, the latest poll indicates that Yes on 23 has a slight lead.

As you know, the Tea Party in California has made Yes on 23 one of their top priorities and are now out there circulating information to get voters in our region to vote for Prop 23.   We need your help to inform the people in our community about what’s really going on…big oil is trying to buy the right to keep polluting our air and water!

If Prop 23 passes, it will not only result in hardship for us, our families and our state, but for our nation and world. What happens on Nov 2 in CA will set the stage for what happens at the federal level on Climate Change and Renewable Energy. Much is riding on reaching voters in the next 4 weeks, and we’ll need your help to do it. The clock is ticking as mail in ballots are out already.

Get plugged in now by attending one of the 3 major No on 23 events this weekend, including the worldwide event for new (and existing) volunteers at Pizza Fusion in Hillcrest on Sunday at 10:30 am. Pizza Fusion is providing free snacks, so this is a great opportunity to get involved.  For more info and to RSVP,  Additionally, we have partnered with the Sierra Club to do phone banking to get likely supporters in San Diego County to get out and vote.

For all the events, wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunblock.
