Building an OCaml project, workshop on building, structuring your OCaml project

NOTE: You will need to sign in with the guard, the elevators won't work without a keycard via the guard. When getting out of the 11th floor turn left.

OCaml is a great language but the build situation is less than ideal.

In this hands on workshop we'll come up with an app and build it together.

The app will be simple, it will be a command line tool that downloads Bitcoin current price data and pretty prints it to the screen. You'll find out how to do bread and butter coding, aka HTTP requests and Json manipulation.

We'll go over how to structure and use the various build tools of the OCaml ecosystem.

You'll learn how to use oasis and opam effectively and will walk away with reusable code as a starting point for your projects.

Bring your laptops and come with questions!
