Ladies,

Make plans now to attend the second annual Spring Fling Swap Meet! "Fling" that stuff you no longer want into a box and bring it to swap for stuff you do want! Pretty much anything and everything goes: clothing, home decor, kitchen items, jewelry and accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, exercise equipment, you name it.

We have room for only 18 swappers at this event, so RSVP ASAP to reserve a seat. Please be sure to change your RSVP, including number of guests, if your plans change! If you get on the waiting list, there's a really good chance that a spot will open up for you, so be prepared to attend. If someone cancels, the first person on the waiting list will be moved automatically to the "Yes, I'm going" list and if that is you, you will receive an email to that effect.

Swappers get half of a 6-foot table to display their items. (Clothing can be hung separately on our clothing rack.) You'll get one ticket for each item you bring - up to 30 items. Your tickets are your currency for swapping.

When you arrive, claim some table space as yours, set it up and come tell me or DJ how many items you brought with you to get your tickets. Also please get a name badge. Then you'll be given some blue painter's tape and sharpie marker to "tag" the items others have brought that you would like to have. It's okay if there's already a tag on the item; you can still tag it. That means we'll have a bidding war and that's really fun!

Please bring a snack or appetizer to share. I'll bring beverages and also provide plates, plastic ware, and napkins.

OUR AGENDA:

Set up: 6:45-7:15 (you can actually come as early as 6:30 if you wish)

Shop, mingle & eat 7:00-7:30

Swap starts at 7:30 sharp and we're usually done around 8:30. We need to be out of the room by 9pm.

Looking forward to another fun evening!

NOTE: Meetup fee is $2 per person to cover the cost of the room and Organizer's monthly fees.

Many thanks to D.J. for assisting me with the swap process and keeping it moving along. Thanks also to all of you who stayed behind a few minutes to help pack up items for donation and load them in Larisa's vehicle. And a big thanks to Larisa for taking all the unwanted stuff to The Salvation Army for us!

Would anyone be interested in a weekend day event and outdoors Swapmeet???? Talked to the folks at Stoney and renting one of the shelters is 200$ for the day ... there are no partial day rentals :/ if we do a swap there we can have 50 people no problem .... And even if you had to get a 4$ day pass to Stoney (a yearly pass is 25$) and came alone it would still be under 10$ if a large group wanted to do it... I live nearby and can easily carpool people in from external parking if needed...

I am sure there is a way to do this where it won't cost as much, though, I can't think of any way off the top of my head.

It would still be worth the price, I am sure, though, esp if we can have a bar-b q too!

My friend Bill thanks everyone for his wonderful additions to his house...he loved everything! Thought the lamps were super cool, he did like the picture Virgina (I did end up taking it) and was thrilled with the toilet paper holder! Thanks again! It was great seeing everyone and a fun nite!!

Don't know how to change RSVP to 1 without losing my spot. Hannah is auditioning for the church praise team so she won't be coming.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
