The Sleep Wake Disorders Association of Toronto is a group of volunteers that run a monthly support group in North York. We provide support, education, and advocacy for sufferers of sleep disorders including, but not limited to, narcolepsy, sleep apnea, restless legs, insomnia, night terrors, and sleepwalking. Our main web site is http://www.sleepwaketoronto.org/
This group has been in existence for over 25 years, and we have only recently added ourselves to Meetup to aid in promotion. RSVPs on this page do not reflect actual attendance at the meetings, as we have many members that do not use the internet. We generally have 10 to 40 people at each meeting.
Our meetings are open to the public and do not require pre-registration. Please feel free to drop in at our meetings and bring your friends and family members. A $3 per family admission fee is requested, and as we receive no outside funding, any further donations are gratefully accepted.
If you wish to receive written materials, have an interview or request a representative from our group to provide an information session for your group, please contact the organiser for more information.

Please be aware that the RSVP numbers on this site are not representative of actual participation. This support group has been running for 30 years, and most of the original members do not have internet access. We have anywhere from 10 to 40 people at any given meeting, and new people are joining all the time. Meetup is another advertising venue for us, so the attendance list isn't so important. Read more
