Talk #1: My Name is Bond... SwiftBond
Manually wiring up UI Code is tedious and requires a lot work and usually doesn't behave the way you would like. But do we really need to do this manually everytime? SwiftBond is a binding framework that takes binding concepts to a whole new level. Its simple, powerful, type-safe and multi-paradigm - just like Swift. Craig has been using SwiftBond for over a year and will cover how easy it is to get started and use in a project. Craig will show you how during a live NFL Patriots game he uses SwiftBond to update all game data in real time for users, as well as other examples of how you can use bond to simplify your code.
About Craig (https://twitter.com/thedevme):
Craig Clayton is a Sr. iOS Engineer at Adept Mobile (http://adeptmobi.com/), which specializes in building mobile experiences primarily for NBA & NFL teams. Craig also volunteers as the organizer of the Suncoast iOS meetup group (https://www.meetup.com/Suncoast-iOS/) in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area, and prepares presentations and hands-on talks for the community. On top of all that, Craig is also the owner of Cocoa Academy – launching in Jan 2017, Cocoa Academy specializes in iOS video courses.
Talk #2: Managing Consistency of Immutable Models
Immutable models have many advantages, but managing consistency can be difficult. We've open sourced two Swift libraries which manage consistency and persistence of immutable models. Unlike Core Data, the API is non-blocking, exception free, and scales well with large numbers of models and view controllers.
About Peter (https://twitter.com/plivesey453):
Peter currently works at LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/) as a Software Engineer working on iOS infrastructure. He spends his time thinking about networking, caching, consistency, immutability, threading, testing and scaling infrastructure to developers and users. He's helped ship the last two iterations of LinkedIn's flagship application.

7pm: Presentations + Q&A. We'll have a very short break between presentations.
We welcome you to stay and chat afterwards.

• 5-minute walk to the King St. Caltrain station. 20-minute walk from the Powell St. BART Station.
• The building entrance is next to the parking garage.
• Bike Parking: You're welcome to bring your bike inside, but you'll need to carry it to the 2nd floor.
