New York City Swing Dance Group Pages

We're inclusive and friendly. We dance and have fun.
The organizers put in their time to help promote the different flavors of swing dancing in the New York City area and all of our events are beginner friendly, though there are also folks that have been doing this longer than we'll admit to. We are not affiliated with any one school or organization and vary our venues and meetings between the variety that NYC has to offer.
We make sure to plan that almost all of our events include a lesson of some sort - so come out even if you don't have a background in social dancing or specifically swing dancing.

Membership Rules
Membership in this group is considered a privilege and the organizer team expects all members to meet certain obligations:
- If you cannot make an event, please change your RSVP to 'no' by at least 2 PM on the day of an event, so that others may attend and so that organizers will have an accurate estimate.
- We expect our members to be friendly, courteous, and welcoming to new members.
Violation of these rules is grounds for dismissal from the group. Again, we are adults, please respect our rules of membership.
If you are a promoter or dance school and you wish to have our members come to your event or class, please send your event or class idea to an organizer. Membership is for actual people, not for a business to join and post events to our members.
