Doug Costlow (Bridgestone) will be doing a presentation which will include a brief history, explanation of the process, types of materials and printers available, costs, applications, 3d modeling options, and an explanation of the work flow of running a printer.

He will also have his printer to do a demo and some parts for display. There will be plenty of time for questions and mingling too.

Rick Pollack (MakerGear) and a Representative from Filaco (producer/distributor of filaments) plan to attend. They will introduce and explain their respective companies and plan to stay and talk with attendees as well.

If you are new to 3D printing, wikipedia defines it thus:

3D printing is a process of making a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model using an additive process, where successive layers of material are laid down in different shapes.
