That is welcome news. With the added support we should be able to work together to get Kathie Glass elected as governor. We can unify as a party behind Kathie and the message of liberty.

Unfortunately, Shon, Kathy is interested in neither unity nor Liberty.   She and her coterie have  alienated not only LPers, but fellow-travelers outside the LP, from the Gulf Coast to the Panhandle.   This has been partly because of their imperial attitude, but also because she has taken -- sometimes venomously -- some distinctly un-libertarian positions.
Nor is she an effective campaigner.   Her 2010 race drew only 1.47 votes per dollar spent, and she actually drew fewer votres, and a smaller percentage, than the 1990 race that spent just 1/3 the money.

As you know, the time demands of other projects have kept the executive committees of the Harris County and Galveston County LPs from being able to devote the time needed to promote LP growth, activism, and voter acceptance in those counties.  With the crucial 2014 election season starting, that won't change anytime soon.
Luckily, Harris County LPers won't have to wait two  years for their affiliate to start moving again.   TE Finnegan, who did such sterling work in the 2012 campaign, has answered the call to run for Harris County LP chair.    She can  be reached here:    https://www.facebook.com/finnegan.te.9
I can  also recommend Clayton Hunt for the HCLP Executive Committee.   He  has been a major  help in reaching out to   a wide variety of voters.

For Texas and Liberty,

Jeff Daiell
