Hey Makers! Bring your swim suit and come join us May 14th for Powell's first annual water bottle rocket launch! Our mission here is to get the community involved and make aware the presence of our soon to be makerspace!

Spend the day in beautiful Powell with good people, good food and great science! We will be having our first hands-on meetup of the year and we're excited for you to join us! Bring your family and enjoy the Powell Farmers Market from 8-noon then come hang out with us for lunch and some exciting water bottle rocket launches.

Here's a schedule for the afternoon;

12-1: We will be having a picnic style lunch. Please bring drinks in 2 liter bottles(for making the rockets duh!)

1-2: Kids will have about an hour to design, assemble and decorate their rockets. Our awesome design booths will be filled with all types of coloring supplies, tapes, stencils and stickers!

2-3: Auto Sequence Start....3...2.....1....... Launch!!

*We define kids as birth to 110 years old! Everyone can participate here.

What you need to bring;

Bathing suit, towels

1 empty 2 liter bottles per participant

If your feeling charitable bring a side to share
